Today we placed orders for 7 different types of barrier cloths to test.
100% Organic Cotton
100% Cotton
60% Cotton/40% Polyester Blend
100% Polyester
100% Stretch Knit Polyester Laminated to a Urethane Lining
50% Cotton/50% Polyester Laminated to a Urethane Lining
Silk Barrier with a Cotton Cover
All of the products are advertised as being effective for dust mites and other allergens, but none of them specifically mention mold. If you are aware of any mattress covers that are being advertised specifically for mold, please let us know by sending us a message by clicking the "Ask a Question" button.
We have increased the number of barrier materials that we want to test from five to seven, which means our Phase II funding goal is being increased to $2100.
